New Timber Frame Barn

In a single day, the frame for our Campus’ new Timber-Framed Barn rose from the foundations. The new structure replaces the original barn that had been on the property from the years before the Monastery was constructed in 1952-1954. Unfortunately the old structure was not sound and needed to be replaced.

The new building, built using timbers from Northern Pennsylvania will house or Games, Movement and Wellness Program as well as a specialty workshop space for our arts and practical arts exploration.  While the building will not quite be ready for the start of the school year, we anticipate students being able to access the building for class starting at some point in October.
