Learning

Learning is not a solo endeavor. When done well, learning builds upon the knowledge of the past; it draws upon the foundations we build in the present and it envisions the possibilities awaiting us in the future. Our learning approach infuses elements of our past, the concepts of a Waldorf-inspired education and the universal tenets of Catholic Social Teaching,  our foundational beliefs in strong families and meaningful relationships between students and teachers to create a unique educational experience that unlocks the individual and collective potential of our students, our faculty, our families, and our community.

Curriculum

Our experientially-based curriculum is focused on meeting each student’s unique needs and calling them forward on a journey to becoming lifelong learners, inventors, problem solvers, and peacemakers. Lean more about our lower, middle and upper schools and the ways we ignite creativity and imagination, cultivate a sense of wonder, connect children to their place in the world and our community, and engage families.

Calendar

The academic year includes 10 months of academic instruction with breaks for family time and adventure-learning experiences and two months of optional learning camps for our elementary and middle school students and elective seminars and immersive courses and service learning opportunities for our high school students. While participation in the summer programs and classes are optional, they are included with each student’s fair share tuition payment. Visit our Calendar for more information on our year-round programming.
