Working with EHC Associates, CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health completed the removal of asbestos from the building. We wanted to complete this as quickly as possible and in advance of starting the renovation and construction on the site.

Asbestos at the time the Monastery was originally constructed was considered a high quality product and used in businesses, schools and homes. We now know that the product can be hazardous to our health. The health, safety and wellbeing of our students, our families and our employees is our top priority and it was an important first step to complete the removal and abatement of any environmental hazard at the site to assure the safety of our students, staff and families.
