Our 2023-2024 Hybrid Option

With renovations continuing at the former Monastery Site, the 2023-2024 school year will be an innovative hybrid learning model for students and families who wish to join the Mary Francis Bachmann School.

The construction schedule at the former Dominican Monastery on Lititz Pike has been extended. To bring our vision for the facility to life, we have been working closely with both Manheim Township and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to assure that our building, grounds, parking and traffic patterns are safe, environmentally friendly and fulfill our goals for the School. While it has taken longer than planned, we believe that all of the community will be proud of the emerging facility and that our plans will best serve the needs of our students and their families.

While it is disappointing we will not be able to move into the new home of the Mary Francis Bachmann School on Lititz Pike until the Fall of 2024, we are excited to kick off the coming 2023-24 school year.

We believe that our team has created a unique and engaging learning model that is perfect for pioneering students and families who wish to join us in this year of transition (2023-2024) as the physical building that will house the Mary Francis Bachmann School is completed for the 2024-2025 school year.

Much like our future physical location, our hybrid option for the 2023-2024 school program will be open to students grades 1 through 12.

The 2023-2024 hybrid learning model will mirror the curriculum that will be offered in the 2024-25 school year when the physical location of the Mary Francis Bachmann School on Lititz Pike is complete. Student instruction and activities will be grounded in our traditions and our values while being infused with elements of Waldorf learning philosophies. The 2023-2024 hybrid program will combine at-home learning inclusive of class teacher support and weekly on-site learning discovery days and activities for every class. CHI St Joseph Children’s Health owns two other newly renovated locations with conference/training facilities that are perfect for the on-site learning days for the Mary Francis Bachmann School students and their families.
